Empowering Change
Through 7 Steps
A trauma informed non-profit organization committed to the transformation of individuals with criminal history through 7 steps.
We support those who have had conflict with the law in their healing journey, empowering them to achieve and sustain lasting freedom.
Our Programs
Reintegration Program
A self paced program identifying and working through challenges inclusive of bi-weekly meetings inside the system.
Taking Responsibility
Peer to Peer Support Program
A community group where members meet voluntarily for two hours every two weeks, focusing on personal growth through practical thinking, a positive mindset, clear purpose, and honest self-reflection. Trauma-informed practices ensure a safe and respectful space for all. The group includes those with lived experiences and supporters from the justice system or community, with everyone treated as equals.
The Yellow Ribbon Project Canada: A Shared Responsibility
The Yellow Ribbon initiative is a community-led effort to help people with criminal history successfully return to society. Too often, stigma and barriers make it harder for them to rebuild their lives, which can lead to reoffending and additional harm in community.
This is why reintegration is everyone’s responsibility. By supporting inclusion, reducing discrimination, and recognizing the impact of incarceration on families and communities, we can make Canada safer and stronger. Grounded in restorative justice principles, this initiative calls on all citizens, organizations, and policymakers to help break the cycle of exclusion and support second chances, making society safer for all of us.
