The Yellow Ribbon Run - Abbotsford - Canada

  • Mill Lake - Waterpark Shelter #2 2310 Emerson Street Abbotsford, BC, V2T 3J2 Canada (map)

Yellow Ribbon Canada: A Shared Responsibility

The Yellow Ribbon initiative is a community-led effort to help people with criminal history successfully return to society. Too often, stigma and barriers make it harder for them to rebuild their lives, which can lead to reoffending and additional harm in community.

This is why reintegration is everyone’s responsibility. By supporting inclusion, reducing discrimination, and recognizing the impact of incarceration on families and communities, we can make Canada safer and stronger. Grounded in restorative justice principles, this initiative calls on all citizens, organizations, and policymakers to help break the cycle of exclusion and support second chances, making society safer for all of us.
